Do you want your lips to look BIG, but still be natural? Whether it’s a fear of needles or if you’re pregnant, I’m sharing my exact routine for how to fake it – no injections needed! This routine was developed throughout my own pregnancy, when I had no choice but to go all natural and master the technique! I will share how I prep, contour, and highlight! Im also sharing my favorite lip enhancing products that actually work!. It really is the small details and a few products that make all the difference!
1. Exfoliate
Take a small amount of the lip scrub and gently rub it on your lips in small circular motions. Then wipe the scrub off with a wet washcloth. This process of exfoliating will remove any dead/ dry skin, leaving you with a nice smooth base.
2. Hydrate & massage
Apply Rejuvenique oil and massage it onto your lips by massaging your upper lip upwards and your lower lip downwards. You can even pinch your lips while massaging upwards and downwards. I don’t get too crazy with the massage, but just enough to stimulates blood flow. Let the oil absorb while you finish the rest of your makeup! This oil provides anti-aging benefits and is super hydrating! The formula is easy to be absorbed and rich in antioxidants that make your lips super soft and plump.
3. Highlight
Gently brush your highlight over the top of your lip . You don’t want to go overboard or you’ll end up with a highlighter mustache! But just enough to accentuate your upper lip!
4. Contour
Choose a liner and lipstick that are in the same color family. The liner should be slightly darker than the lipstick and your natural lip color. Having a darker liner will create a shadow around your lips making them appear larger. Overline the center of your lips. Now with the lipstick, gently pat it onto your lips until you have the desired amount. Then use your finger to blend the lip liner and the lipstick together. Avoid adding too much lipstick or going over the lip liner with the lipstick.
5. Lip enhancing
Now add some gloss on top to make your lips appear even more plump! There are a lot of mixed opinions of whether or not you should add gloss when overlining your lips. But I swear by this Too Faced gloss because: A. it plumps the hell out of your lips and B. I love the way the light reflects off the gloss. But be careful to only apply to the center of your lips and not where you overlined. If you take the gloss too far out, it can look sloppy.
